High Point

MTB Missoula's recommended blue route in the Rattlesnake Trail system. A smooth but fairly stout climb followed by a fast flowy descent on the newly rebuilt Fenceline Trail. This loop is a classic after-work staple for Missoula riders. Please be courteous to other trail users and control your speed.

Above the Wallman intersection the creek has overflow its banks and is running down the trail and there are a number of large trees down. From the Stuart intersection up to the Snowbowl Overlook the trail is mostly snow covered with knee deep postholing at times.

The climb is not bad despite some deep foot prints. roll in the early morning or late night to get the best snow conditions lately.
