The Mud Lake Kinnickinnick and Tungsten Loops are great beginner rides, but when you add on Sherwood you bump up the difficulty (and fun). This is an beginner/intermediate ride.
Start at the Mud Lake trailhead and make the next left onto Tungsten Loop. Follow the loop around and then make the a left and then quick right to hit Kinnickinnick Loop in the counterclockwise direction. Make sure you stay left at the next intersection and don't follow the neighborhood access trail out of the system. Make a right and then a quick left to get back to Tungsten.
Then make a left on Caribou Ranch Link and follow the trail to Sherwood Creek Road. Take a left on Sherwood Creek Road and then look for the singletrack on the right. Take the right onto Sherwood, after the switchback you'll come to a fork. The right is Chickadee - this is the unofficial climbing trail, with Sherwood (the downhill trail) to your left. Take the right onto Chickadee, it goes almost to the top of Sherwood. When you hit the road, take a left, then look for Sherwood on the left side of the road. Sherwood is some of the swoopiest, flowiest, funnest singletrack in the county and at a mile long you may want to take a couple laps. When you are ready to come back, retrace your steps to the Tungsten loop (left on the road, right on Caribou Ranch link). Take a left on Tungsten and another left to get back to the parking lot.
