Day 2 Pro/Expert

ACCESS FOR STAGE 7- Monday Tuesday Access For 2018 NAEC

ACCESS FOR STAGE 8 - Kellogg Peak Access for NAEC

Pro/ Expert Course is Stage 7, Stage 8 and Stage 10 on Sunday.

5,400' of climbing, the rest is lift access.

Transfer 7 - Stage 7

Leave from the village on the Trail of the CDA's, and take a right on Division St. Climb up and stay on Division ignoring the Day 1 turn off. At the top of the paved hill, you will reach a closed gate with a dirt road to your right, continue up the dirt road. You will reach the top of Monday Tuesday, which is located right on the dirt road. Monday Tuesday is an old moto trail that Sweet Barry Wine has gotten tuned up for this event. This is Private Property and the landowner has allowed us to use it for 1 day as long as there is no smoking or littering. This trail is rough, raw, and fits right in with some of the "adventure" trails in the region, we recommend bringing a co2 and plug kit.

Transfer 8 - Stage 8
At the end of Stage 7, you will be back on the dirt road from before. Hoof it back up and then continue on until you see an arrow directing you to the right. You'll navigate some beautiful backcountry double track, cross a little scree, and take in the views as you traverse behind Wardner Peak and eventually find yourself on Kellogg Peak at 6,300'. Stage 8 leaves from the fire lookout and starts with some new rough cut trail before it merges into part of the Stix & Stones dirt bike course. This route was a Pro only line in 2017, and you'll smell why as you descend through some of the steepest skiing at Silver. Once you hit the service road, take a right for a second and then drop into the second half of Snake Pit.

Transfer 10 - Stage 10

Hop on Chair 3 and get prepared for the top to bottom. Stage 10 Starts on Hammer, with a mix of jumps, berms, and tech. Everything is rollable or has a ride around. Continue down into Lower Hammer, which is a flowy jump line. Be sure to get familiar with these ahead of time, especially the filter feature and the little optional gap that is marked near the gondola line. Hang a right on to Mutton Conductor and embrace the arm pump as you take on one of the longer tech sections at Silver. At 5 Corners you'll shoot straight into Spooky Woods, which will give you a chance to do a little pedaling for just a second before it returns to some classic Silver Mountain tech riding. Navigate the tight right turn at the bottom of Spooky Woods and then bang out the Extremely fast and loose Wide Open Road. Watch that right hand onto the main Wide Open trail, it gets blown through a lot. Wide open is a mostly flowy trail that's riddled with roots in places and features a number of jumps you'll want to keep your speed under control for, including the brand-new jump line near the bottom. Next up is Man Child, with more jumps and lots of features to get timed right. Cross the road into Frog Trees, a green trail that gets hairy at speed. You just finished a monster of a race, go soak in the river!
