Typical 90-120 minute loop depending on whether you are advance or intermediate.

Starting from the Shale pit one climbs Coopers Gap rd as a warm up before swinging in onto Dutch Alvin, and connecting from there to Chestnut Springs before rejoining Coopers Gap rd for the short jaunt to Chicken Peter. Follow Chicken Peter back and across Coopers Gap rd onto Shitaka. Clear the rock gardens and then blast down to the Shitaka parking lot on Coopers Gap rd. Cross the rd and begin the climb through the pine trees before swinging left up Sand Hole trail to Beautiful. Enjoy your tie on Beautiful before crossing Conklin Rd and starting Chicken Peter, follow this and you will come to the short steep grunt of a climb where you came down previously to cross the road. Do not cross the road, but rather retrace your tracks on Chicken Peter back to Coopers Gap rd, turning right off it back on to Chestnut Springs and then the blast now going down a flowing Dutch Alvin. Come out on Coopers Gap rd and drop to the sharp bend and pick up Lower Brush Ridge trail back to the parking lot
