How is this route even listed. never mind #2 for the top "blue" routes in Rose Valley. The start of the ride is absolute garbage. Why would anyone recommend you ride the start of these trails never mind any of the first 8 (up to sidehill madness)??? If you want to ride these lame xc trails, then start from the rosewood drive lot and head up to turkey, cougar etc. AVOID connector, sidehill shortcut an sidehill madness. NO FUN!!

Very fun technical cross country Trail, easy to find your way. The trail undulates with some nice tech sections.

Vague, seldom used trail. Easy to miss the switchback to head back towards the south. Best for hiking.

Nov 18, had a great ride great up past the rooster tree and over to turkey vulture then down to RV lake.
Turkey vulture a great x-cntry ride at the top of the ridge, a couple spots at the north end that are still a bit tough to follow but well marked overall. Lots of potential to drop new downhill trails off the ridge down to RV lake or Bear Creek Rd.

The second half of this trail is barely scratched in - there's some flagging tape and rocks to guide the way but if you don't have Trailforks handy you'll probably get lost...

Some needle dick went through the upper section of the climb and tried to decommission it. Leaving no suitable climb trail. I will be going through and removing all the logs but until then watch out.
