Since it opened in 2016, Down Tube has quickly become a favourite. You'll hear most local riders saying that if you can only ride one trail in Terrace, it has to be Down Tube.

To give your legs a good warm up and work out, park at the Johnstone trailhead and ride Flathead until you hit the junction with Down Tube. Let 'er rip and take Hatchet Boy & T2 back to the Flathead junction. Ride Flathead back down the way you came up to get back to your car.

Raking from Hatchet Boy down to Kitselas road should be finished this weekend. Warren Copeland cleared the leaves off the trail above Hatchet Boy with the leaf blower yesterday (way to go Warren!). Trail has its regular slightly slippery clay sections, especially below Hatchet Boy, where they're more than just slightly slippery (on foot at least).
