SANTOS FAT TIRE FESTIVAL: Is hosted annually each March by Ocala Mountain Bike Association in partnership with the Florida State Parks and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. The 3 day Festival features the EPIC 50 RIDE on Saturday, camping at the adjacent Santos Campground, a huge vendor village with bike booths & food trucks, and skills clinics. Proceeds from FTF benefit trail maintenance & building, safety patrol training, and equipment.
Detailed Description
OMBA Epic Route is a 46 mile popular intermediate route located near Ocala Florida. This mountain bike only route can be used both directions and has a hard overall physical rating. This route includes 27 trails. This route climbs 1,025 ft with a max elevation of 115 ft then descends -1,023 ft.
