The 3rd Annual OZ Trails Off-Road allows participants to choose from the Ozark 15, Ozark 30 and Ozark 50 graduated route options. While "Ozark" pays homage to the OZ Trails network, each number represents the distance of each route in miles (+/-).

All three routes will challenge riders with varied rolling terrain connecting world-class purpose-built singletrack for mountain biking in the beautiful and rugged Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas.

Boasting more than 200+ miles of trails connecting communities, Northwest Arkansas has become one of the hottest new mountain bike destinations in America thanks to more than $75 million invested into trails development over the last five years alone. The OZ Trails Off-Road will celebrate this community investment by taking participants on numerous featured trails, including the Back 40 and Slaughter Pen trail systems in Bella Vista and Bentonville, and more.

The Ozark 50 challenges riders with just under 4,000 feet of climbing through a succession of short, punchy climbs that gradually tax the legs and lungs. The mass start rollout leads you out of Bentonville and into the Back 40 for you first taste of single track.

This is a great trail for anyone who likes rock lipped jumps! (All of which can be avoided for those who like to keep tires in the ground.) It felt like two different trails with the same name on either side of Berthnal Road. From the road down to Back 40 are great jumps and features. From the road to SBAT are a few jumps but overall it’s more like a standard Bella Vista ravine trail. The section from the road to Back 40 is my new favorite trail in NWA. Close to it is “Go Ride” downhill.

Trail Masterplan
This trail is so much fun! It should definitely be double black for a few reasons though. The beggining of the downhill has one smaller jump, right into a SUPER long jump, and a very large gap afterwards. In order to hit this right, you have to pedal as hard as you possibly can, to hit the two last jumps without casing. The techy section after all the jumps stays wet during the winter season, so you have to watch your tire placement closely. Definitely one of my favorite trails in Bentonville though.

Wow fantastic! Rode the south section north to south. The rock jumps are well enough made to send on a hardtail without getting bucked off your pedals. That's a win.

Not worth the effort. For some fun and challenging tech hit Boom diggity then head to wonderland Sally trail.

The most scenic trail near Bentonville, riding along and under large rock ledges with a small water fall and cave

Adds a tiny bit of extra pedaling to the loop, but if you’re going CCW it sets you up a lot better for the first downhill stretch on the loop.

Fun trail. More of a blue/black and the hard part is mainly a longish tech section on the west end.

This trail was rated black on trailforks due to erosion of the trail west of the Trafalgar road crossing. The trail along euston road is green/blue with optional blue features.

Blue trail.
Definitely a blue trail. Maybe there has been some trail work done, but this trail is on the easier side of blue. Glad I took a chance on it.

Hiked today. Well maintained. Creeks easy to jump over or wade through. Hilly. Woodsy. Only saw 1 other hiker.

Probably my favorite stretch of trail in the back 40. As above, best ridden north to south or clockwise. Trail features 10 or so rock kickers and drops, all rideable after rain as it is all bedrock. Great wet-weather option if you are looking for a little more than just XC trails.

Fantastic trail. While much is blue, this is def a black trail. I road in rain and its tough for sure. If you can do Oscar's in Coler, you'll be good here. Exposure isn't life threatening but def limb. South to North is the only way.

As of 7/26/21 the first berm was kinda washed out and created a pretty nasty fall zone. Still a great ride!

Super fast with a great mix of features - The trails starts with a large wooden ramp/slope drop followed by a steep chunky rock garden, several nice jumps, big berms and a few more rock gardens.

Good trail. I would give it a blue/black rating. If your not comfortable riding on a ledge 18" wide or so you're probably not going to enjoy it. A couple of spicy sections easily walkable.

From the intersection with the south portion of trail and back 40, follow towards back 40 and make a right to complete the whole loop. Start on the south portion at the Blowing Springs bench. North portion is ⬛ and south portion is ????.

Trail The Ledges
This is one of my favorite trails if not my absolute favorite. Not too many people so you can let loose and enjoy the ride. It is a challenging trail but idk if I would call it an expert trail. It is very fun. Flows really well at times and other times it's pretty technical. I would suggest riding from south to north so start out on the Commonwealth road side and go down to the Grosvenor road end.

Rode from west to east; downhill all the way. Rocky trail. Eastern portion of Ozone adjacent to wastewater treatment plant, so raw sewage smell was prevalent.

Trail Rago
Going counter clockwise from the last road crossing to Summit School this trail is no longer a blue. It has blue level features but the cost of a mistake is easily black. High speed, potential for step downs/hips, and the bench cut has eroded away to the point only the trail bed, 6" or less, separate you from flying off into a ravine. Amazingly fun ride though.
