Ruta que pasa por hermosos paisajes de bosques de pino. Transcurre por brechas anchas en su mayoría, bien marcadas. En época de lluvias puede ser algo lodosa y en secas hay mucho polvo por lo que llegarás algo “empanizado”. Desde el punto de vista técnico es relativamente sencilla, a excepción del tramo final que baja a Tepoztlán ya que es una zona de mucha piedra, terreno irregular e inclinado que demandará de tu concentración. Desde el punto de vista de orientación es muy sencilla y por ello todos los puntos son solo referencias para seguir la ruta. Muchos de ellos son desviaciones bien marcadas.
