his is a 32 mile meander starting from Penn Roosevelt State Park will take intermediate/advanced riders 3-4 hours.

It starts of with a gradual climb out of the park up Thickhead Mtn Rd Trail to Detweiler Run Trail. Making the left onto Detweiler Run you then get to enjoy a fast 3 mile descent to Bear Meadows Rd. Climb up the 1.5 miles to through the switchbacks to the top of Bear Meadows Rd before dropping down the other side turning right on to John Wert Trail just before the the monument at Bear Meadows. Follow John Wert through to Thickhead Mountain Rd, turning left and heading down Thickhead Mountain Rd to it's intersection with Treaster Kettle Rd. Make a right on Treatser Kettle and go just short of a mile before you turn left onto Bailout Trail. Climb Bailout Trail, taking the left branch of Leniency Trail and continue the climb up to Tussey Mountain Extension Trail. Go right and continue the climb to the Beer Tap. At the Beer Tap make a left to traverse the ridge on Tussey Mountain Trail to Kettle Trail. Turn left and descend Kettle Trail continuing across the road to the intersection with Lonberger Path. Make left onto Upper Lonberger Path and follow this throught to North Meadows Rd. Making a right climb North North Meadows Rd and make another right at the top onto Gettis Ridge Rd. Following Gettis Ridge out to the intersection with Bear Gap Rd and Greenlee Rd. Take a left onto Greenlee and go 1/3 mile before making a left onto Croyle Trail. Croyle is an exhilarating down hill that dumps you on Beidelheimer Rd. Going left follow this before going left again onto Gettis Ridge Rd and climbing to the intersection with Wampler Rd. Take a right on Wampler RD and follow this out to Bear Meadows Rd. You will be at a point you passed earlier in the ride. Turn right on Bear Meadows Rd and descend to the intersection with Detweiler Run Trail. Now the climbing begins again as you climb up Detweiler Run Trail to Thickhead Mtn Rd Trail. Make a left and relax on the downhill back into Penn Roosevelt.
