This route offers the kind of terrain that isn't often found in the mid-west, sand and rock! It's perfect for a short challenging ride, something to build up to for anyone still learning, or a warm-up for the true animals. The greatest part about this route is it dries out quicker than anything else in the area. So if you are going to ride, puddles be d***** (not recommending this here or on any other trails) then this is the best place to look. The only problem areas are the bottom of the Sandy Climb and the piece of dizzy that the Sand Bowl drops out to. If these are bad then staying the right side of the bowl and walking bikes up the Ambulance Climb is recommended.
