An “extended” 5.2 mile loop for a beginner to intermediate mountain biker. Starting and ending at the Croft Mine Historical parking lot just north of the City of Crosby, on MN HWY 6.

Currently you do not need a Minnesota State Park vehicle permit to park in the Croft Mine Historical parking lot.

This loop starts on the paved Cuyuna Lakes State Paved Trail heading west across HWY 6 from the parking area and then leading into both segments of South Drag Line trail, continuing again east across HWY 6, and experiencing the full loop of the Haul Road singletrack trail.

These two trails feature Cuyuna’s more appropriate flow and elevation for the first-time cyclist.

Depending on the speed you cycle, this could be a couple of hours, or a full day experience.

The Cuyuna Lakes State Paved Trail is a two-way, two-direction trail. The Cuyuna Lakes Mountain Bike Trails per this ride loop are a one-way, one-direction loop.
