This is my favorite Prospector-Church Rocks loop when I am just rolling into town, and want to get to some great trails fast. The prospector trail is mostly a slow grind up and with some minor ups and downs, but provides a perfect fast flowing end to the ride. Once you get to the church rocks area, I like to at least do the little double loop that takes you up on Brackens and drops you down the steep and loose little switchbacks back to the Church Rocks main loop. The Main loop has several loop options, and depending on time, water, fatigue it is fun to do different loop options.

If you really want to extend this ride, you can do the Dino Cliffs Out-n-Back, but just know that most return options are not great. Some deep sand and crappy old 4x4 roads await you on loop options beyond Brackens.
