À partir de l’accueil de la Vallée Bras-du-Nord, le peloton se dirigera à vitesse contrôlée jusqu’à la ZEC Batiscan-Neilson, où les cyclistes seront libérés en direction du sentier Neilson nord, réputé dans le monde pour son décor naturel grandiose. L’émerveillement se poursuivra au fil des pistes Neilson Sud, Tomahawk et Chute à Gilles, pour culminer avec la descente de la Légende, un sentier unique en son genre, d’où vous découvrirez une vue incroyable.

Attention: Pour le ravito, les premiers soins et l'assistance technique neutre, se fier à carte et ne pas se fier au profil généré par l’application, qui les place en début de parcours. Ils sont bien situés au kilomètre 19.5.

Welcome to the Shannahan sector, the wild side of the Vallée Bras-du-Nord. Here you'll discover Quebec's boreal forest in all its splendor, ride on the granite of the Canadian Shield, and pass spectacular rivers and waterfalls.
From the Bras-du-Nord Valley reception area, the group will ride at a controlled speed to the Batiscan-Neilson recreation area (ZEC), where the cyclists will be released on the Neilson North trail, renowned in the world for its magnificent natural setting. The wonderment will continue along the Neilson South, Tomahawk and Chute à Gilles trails, culminating in the descent of the Legend, a unique trail from which you will discover an incredible view.

Attention: For the feeding station, first aid and neutral technical assistance, trust the map and do not trust the profile generated by the application, which places them at the beginning of the course. They are correctly located at kilometer 19.5

QSE 2022: Stage 5 - VBN Shannahan is a 22 mile intermediate race route located near Saint-Raymond Quebec. This mountain bike only route. This route includes 5 trails. This route climbs 2,234 ft with a max elevation of 1,400 ft then descends -2,291 ft.

Lots of wash out and loose rocks, especially the climb. Been ridding the trail every other year since 2019. There are many more hike a bike sections than previous years.
