Rainbow Dreams (Beginner) by Wild Sun Adventures - 9.9 miles in length.

A longer beginner route for those that want some greater length without technicality. Plenty of "bail" points in case it turns out the length is a bit much for you. The trail gets chunkier as it goes along, with no extended uphills and one extended downhill.

This route dances along three lakes: Pennington Mine Lake, Huntington Mine Lake and Armor Mine No. 2. It also, includes a few glances of Alstead Mine Lake and the Mahnomen duck ponds. All in all, the this route is one the most consistently beautiful routes around.

Route also provides access to the city of Ironton, the Rally Center and western paved end of the Cuyuna Lakes State trail.
