A fun easy loop. I recommend riding counter clockwise.

This is also the route for the 2016 Provincial XC Marathon Championship.

Rode this Feb 11. Surprisingly supportive ruts in the turns. Very fun. Studs weren't necessary but likely will be in coming days.
Bobcat

A light covering of snow over the typical hardpack snow base. Many sections of snow-over-dirt. Good traction for the majority of the climb with only a few sections being made easier with studs. Overall, great shape considering the recent freeze/thaw cycles.
Ranger Summit

Ice from bottom to top. A few sections were too slick and steep to maintain traction. Studded tires are strongly recommended.

The chinook turned the snow into slush, glare ice and glazed hardpack. There were some ruts/puddles forming, which will be really interesting when it freezes up. Studded tires would be a really good idea.

Great Shape. A few wet spots. Logging road crossings are a mix of snow & mud. Watch for fallen trees!
