A fun easy loop. I recommend riding counter clockwise.

This is also the route for the 2016 Provincial XC Marathon Championship.

This is a poorly shot edit of the Ridgeback 3 descent from the junction with Snakes & Ladders.

Everything is good - dry and fairly tacky. Lots of loose rocks at the top just before Burach's Corner, which can damage your frame or your rear derailleur.

Ranger Summit is just built badly and when it gets wet, you only get the strava guys going out there to ruin the trail even more. There are just long sections of wet, muddy tracks whereas other trails have dried out. Wish the trail association will make a change to that trail with more switchbacks. Such a shame when the top section of this trail is completely dry and fun to ride; the north facing side (from the parking lot) can be a mud grind vertical up.

Small tree down across trail, can ride over or around. This is in between start the sections of R3. Trail from Bobcat & R3 is mostly dry and tacky. Some damp sections. Nearer R4, the boggy section is - kind of wet, but likely can ride through the makeshift log pathway if you have enough speed. Otherwise, the trail is in pretty good shape. Also, this section of the trail from R3 to R4 for Tom Snow, it's a bit overgrown since hardly anyone rides this trail. Everyone now rides Braggin Rights to Merlin.
