Starting and finishing from Lasseters for the time trial and from the Golf Club for the night race, riders leave through flat and fast trails/paths and then onto moderate 4WD tracks that are sandy and rocky in some spots. Riders then turn right onto Kims Tk for some fun single track with a few rocky technical sections and some fun flowy sections. At the eastern end of the course riders head north and ride up the station boundary track before turning left onto Emily's Track, for a super fast, long and fun section of track with some very narrow and technical sections just prior to the single track climb to the top of Sunset Hill and a fast adrenalin filled descent back to Lasseters/Golf Club. Short course riders take the "12hr Tk" detour to rejoin the course and complete a course of approx 18km

Redback MTB Race Stage 4 and 5 Time Trial/Night race course - ASP is a 14 mile intermediate race route located near Alice Springs Telegraph Station Reserve. This mountain bike primary route can be used one direction and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route includes 2 trails. This route climbs 602 ft with a max elevation of 2,061 ft then descends -605 ft.
