Road is public access through private land!! Close gates. Stay on road / atv trail ! Do not disturb cattle or any private property.

From the highway in Garden City, head west up Hodges Canyon Rd, paved for about 1/4 mile, then gravel. Curves to the right, and then take a left at the sign for Richardson Fork. Richardson is 100% rideable, but some loose/rutted/rocky/steep sections may result a little hiking.

Ride up to the top of the mountain, stay right at major forks (navigate using trailforks ap)

When you reach the smooth white gravel road just past the summit, turn right, and coast for about a half mile to turn right again and descend Hodges Canyon. Some nice technical sections, and a little flow, but a lot of ATV ruts and erosion, and logs strewn about make it tricky. Rejoin main road, back to Garden City.

Lots of atv related erosion. Riders have attempted to fill in many ruts with chunks of logs which are mtb obstacles. Rideable, but tricky in sections. Also, some stream crossing damage with alternate crossings created. Still a fun, pretty descent, but could be a lot nicer.
