This is the route of the annual Run for Water 10K Trail Race that begins and ends at the lower parking lot on Sumas Mtn. The race starts with a 500m gravel road climb and return to spread out racers before entering the single-track trail No Time Out to World Cup, followed by a STEEP climb up Devils Throat. After a short section of forest service road you will come out at the upper parking lot viewpoint. From there you will descend half of Rock Diva, climb the top half of Noah Fear to the race midpoint and aid station. Finally you will descend down Holiday Sauce and Emma Peel back to the start/finish line. These single-track technical trails are for intermediate and advanced runners or anyone who wants a real challenge.
