This is a significant loop in the Sedona Dry Creek area. I would rate the loop: 15% beginner, 78% intermediate, 6% advanced and 1% expert. The loop can be ridden in either direction, but might be most fun in a counter counter clockwise direction. Most trails in the loop are intermediate in nature, but will have some short sections an intermediate rider will walk.

If you are riding counter clockwise there might be some short sections and advanced rider may walk on the Two Fences trail going uphill. If you are riding clockwise and start at Two Fences there are several short up segments that you will need momentum to clear without dabbing.

There a numerous ways to shorten this loop, so if you need to cut the loop short you can bail at numerous intersections and ride Dry Creek Rd back to your vehicle.

Recent Trail Reports Along Route

Now mostly ridable particularly riding south; still tricky going north. Most of the loose deep sand has compacted with bike use and recent light rain. Section coming out of the southern most section of the wash has been rerouted to where it joins Last Frontier and is now pleasant as is the reworked trail up to Yavapai College parking.

Damp in spots, hero dirt for the most part.

Some water on the trail but generally dry. Love this trail every time we do it! Intermediate riders should consider walking a few small sections of this trail. Beginner riders should probably stay clear of this trail unless they are comfortable walking and not afraid of some steep xposure
