Here is what I call the Sedona West EPIC loop. It is not super hard for someone with true intermediate bike skills and decent lungs. Amazing scenery and a bit of tech thrown in for excitement. You can definitely find some new lines around Mescal to make it harder/easier if you like.

Have taken many guests on this loop with great reviews.

Recent Trail Reports Along Route

Now mostly ridable particularly riding south; still tricky going north. Most of the loose deep sand has compacted with bike use and recent light rain. Section coming out of the southern most section of the wash has been rerouted to where it joins Last Frontier and is now pleasant as is the reworked trail up to Yavapai College parking.
