Senate Meadows to Pioneer Cemetery loop is a popular beginner loop ridden right from Galena Lodge. It can be ridden both directions but is recommended to be ridden clockwise. This loop contains very smooth and buffed out singletrack with gentle grades. With that said, it is still a very fun loop for beginners and experienced bikers alike.

Too much singletrack? Climb the Senate Creek road to either upper or lower Senate Meadows loop. Too long? Take Cherry Connector back to Galena View Loop and skip Pioneer Cemetery Loop.

Hikers enjoy this loop as well. However, on Galena View loop it is recommended to stay on the northeast section of the loop both to and from Senate/Pioneer as there is less highway noise and better views on the northeast section of Galena View Loop.

Like all of the singletrack trails at Galena, these trails are open to two-way traffic and shared use by hikers, horseback riders, runners, and bicyclists. Watch for and yield to others - on this and all trails. All Galena singletrack trails are closed to E-Bikes.

Detailed Description
Senate Meadows to Pioneer Cemetery Loop is a 7 mile popular easy route located near Ketchum Idaho. This mountain bike primary route can be used both directions and has a easy overall physical rating. This route includes 3 trails. This route climbs 665 ft with a max elevation of 7,582 ft then descends -656 ft.
