This 7.6 mile loop starts at the Adobe Jack trailhead off of Hwy 89A. I would rate the ride as follows: 15% beginner, 77% intermediate and 8% advanced.

It is a very popular loop due to its proximity to the Over the Edge and Fat Tire bike shops. The loop starts on the Adobe Jack trail and when you reach the top of Adobe Jack at the Jordan trail you will head left over to the Soldiers Pass trail which is an out and back to the Sink Hole.

The scenery on the ride is pretty cool especially at the top of the Grand Central trail section. The locals call the hill Ant Hill which has a 360 degree view of the surrounding area that you have been riding.

From the top of Ant Hill there is a fairly steep section of trail to the Ant Hill trail. About 1/2 down the steep section there is a four foot drop that more advanced riders might want to huck off of.

Once you reach the Javalina trail the trail drops significantly to the Grand Central drainage. This section of trail is very fun to ride at higher than normal speeds if you are so inclined.
