Trail Barrel Roll
Great trail. Largely flow with some tech thrown in here & there with one or two features I’d rate as black. Adding in Sidewinder as a spur gives you a few more miles, and extra climb, and some great views.

Nice line, however FYI there are no berms, jumps, drops or skinnies. A stretch to call it blue. Beautiful area.

As mentioned previously, midpoint of trail is where all the tech is. Rode in both directions, preferred ccw. CW is an easy climb leading to tech in the middle with lots of flat and pedaling afterwards. CCW is a more fun and engaging uphill with a lackluster descent. Paired CCW loop with sidewinder, Suicidal tendencies, and precipice for the best of all worlds.

Best ridden as a lollipop clockwise, starting on the trail paralleling Precipice and finishing on Precipice. Quite a bit more technical on the descent than I expected from the other comments. Kind of like Zen Lite.

Just wanted to ad that there are two very steep and off camber rock slabs as you climb up the south mesa. One pedal strike on the uphill side will send you tumbling and ultimately to the ER so be careful on both.

This is really all one trail. The first section is kinda sketchy/exposed and the switchbacks will challenge your trials skills. The loop at the top of the second mesa is more of a blue. Both are fun, tight, narrow single track. Big time credit to the builders!! More fun then Zen trail IMO.

did it as a CW loop. agree that nothing here feels black, especially compared to the suicidal tendencies connector you take to get here. climb is chill and descent is mostly switchbacks with no major features i can recall. cool views but not the most interesting trail

This trail is rated black due to 2:1 or maybe even 1:1 embankment exposure. There is a moderate tech section but the trail is definitely more of a blue then a black and it's a more interesting climb then going up Barrel Roll.

The loop has some great views. Rode it clockwise and the climb was pretty mellow. The descent was kind of hard to gain speed because of all the switchbacks. The loop portion itself definitely isn't a black diamond. I feel like it's worth it to do the loop after riding out there.

I thought this trail was pretty rad. The descent and ascent heading over to loop wasn't too hard but the ascent coming back to Sidewinder seems impossible. Some of thos switchbacks seem impossible to get up.

Super fun trail if you are not afraid of heights! The switchbacks on this trail are miniscule and the trail itself at times gets super thin. There are some very intimidating spots on this trail, but they all look worse than they actually are. The guys that build this get an A+ for how fun it is to ride and pretty it looks on a camera. By the time I got to the start of Suicidal Tendancies I was already exhausted from the climb up Precipice and Sidewinder. I'd recommend bringing some food and/or an energy drink for this one.

Super fun trail. Builders may have gotten a little carried away with the number of switchbacks, but it makes it sustainable and can be ridden pretty fast uphill without killing yourself. I did it clockwise, but either direction would be great.

Trail Barrel Roll
Mostly cruiser singletrack, with only two or three hard technical sections that make it a "black diamond" trail. Great views and a fun ride!
