This route starts at Tahoe Meadows on Mount Rose Highway and follows the TRT to Marlette Lake. This section of the TRT is only open to bikers on even days. From there, the Marlette Flume trail offers a traverse with steep exposure and amazing views of Lake Tahoe. Exercise care on the downhill finish on the sandy Tunnel Creek trail to stay upright and maintain good trail etiquette with numerous hikers.
