Over 62 miles in length with 8,000+ feet of climbing and 10,000+ feet of descent, this is the most amazing (and tough) mountain bike ride. What started off as a hair-brained idea with a few friends many years ago, pre-TAMBA rebirth, is now one of our signature events attracting crazy people from all around the country. It takes most people all day to complete the ride while showcasing some of the best trails linking Tahoe’s North Shore from Mount Rose down to Lake Tahoe’s South Shore ending on the famous Mr. Toads Wild Ride. It’s not a race but the ride can be as intense as you want it to be, join us and be part of something awesome

Detailed Description
TAMBA Rose to Toads is a 62 mile popular expert route located near South Lake Tahoe California. This mountain bike only route can be used one direction and has a extreme overall physical rating. This route climbs 8,480 ft with a max elevation of 9,723 ft then descends -10,788 ft.

Great ride put on by TAMBA. Every leg on this rout will challenge you in one way or another. The last climb to Mr Toads is pretty tough after riding all the previous mileage. The fast ride sees will do this a b about 8 hours and the slower risers will get it done in 11 to12 hours. The last 33 miles is unsupported so bring enough water and nutrition for that distance. There are a few springs after the Star Lake climb on the decent that you can fill up on without a filter if you need to.
Bottom line is if you can carve the time out on the
