WARNING: Many of these trails contain dangerous descents and man-made structures that may fall into disrepair. Always check structures before use!

Welcome to The Big Fella! I designed this route to take in the majority of the technical trails that the Kiwarrak State Forest has on offer.

This route has a considerable amount of climbing, which is a necessary evil to reach all the great trails. Please be aware that if you're on an Enduro bike you will suffer. This route is not really suitable for DH bikes - too much walking!

There's lots of structures on offer, with the majority of jumps and roll overs concentrated on 3 X 3, Up River, River, Go 21and Willy Wally Gully.

Considerable climbing on Sleeping Giants, Lobotomy, Trampoline, Chads Route and Heart Rate.

I've listed Cross Country bike as a recommended bike type. Enduro or Slopestyle would be much more suitable, but anything with at least 130mm of travel should be alright, as long as you are a skilled rider.

If you're super fit and don't stop it'll probably take you 2.5 - 3 hours. Give yourself half a day if you're not!

BREAKING NEWS FROM THE TIP RIDERS RE RACE this Saturday 11th of November Elpresident Pete has advised the entry fee for FIRST TIME racers & ALL JUNIORS is going to be waved that's right NO $10, if you are not a member of MTBA all you need to pay for is the Day License $30 Seniors and $18 Juniors. Rego opens 2:00pm with a 3.00pm start. We are racing out of the Event Centre, on Lantana Crossing Rd. We will run the race as a Solo Lap race that can be entered in A grade, B grade, C Grade & D Grade, number of laps to be advised on the day. It will be over a short 5.8km fun loop with some of your favorite trails including Mayhem, Eureka, Box, Play Ground, Divine just to name a few. The loop has been designed by Trevor Banks & Gary Tonkin. Entry fee is $10 for seniors unless you are a first time racer. If you have raced before at a Tip Riders race and don't have a MTBA license you will also need to pay for a day license on the day, seniors $30 this will cover you on the day. We’re aiming to keep the same fun atmosphere that our races always are so even though we’re calling this one a “race” we still want to see inexperienced riders giving it a shot and having a go. Any questions just contact me. [L=https://www.facebook.com/groups/MGLTR/permalink/1452594721456525/]Generated from Facebook Post[/L]
