I lost my googles today 10-07-22 around 11:00 am, I believe on this trail (or Old Buck to connect with Badew Powell) on my way up to take John Deer. Please send me a message if you found them, thanks.

Rode a section of this today for the first time. Climbed GSM and wanted to get to Forever After, so we took Baden Powell. BP to Severed D was pretty fun. More black than blue, in my opinion. From Severed towards Forever it got even steeper and more treacherous. You've been warned!

This trail joining to Asian Adonis is a blue in my opinion, the section that splits off from Asian is extremely steep, with large roots, rock, very tight sections. No room to recover from a error, high probability of injury. In my opinion the second half is beyond double black.

The direction is basically wrong. It is 100% unrideable from forever after to severed upwards, but is a spicy treat downwards.

I’m an intermediate/blue-trail rider; can fairly comfortably ride John Deer... wanting to work my way up to easier blacks. If I wanted to ride Asian Adonis, what’s the top section of this trail like, from Baden Powell to the entrance of Asian? Some of the comments here have me a little anxious, like this is black-pushing-doubleblack trail, closer to Boogieman than John Deer so I don’t wanna get on something that’s outta my league... but would give Asian Adonis a go!

If you can ride John Deer, you can ride to Asian Adonis.
Take Dickie - C-Buster - Adonis
Enjoy I did it yesterday for a change from Severed Smile

Seems like there is one a-hole in every crowd. Most bikers are not rude like the guy you mentioned. Hope you found your Garmin.

I’m mainly a mountain biker but today I went up hiking with my dog looking for my garmin I lost yesterday and getting way out of the way of the incoming bikers. To this guy that told me to get off the trail I say( and I do wish he reads this)
GO « F » yourself!!! The only reason I said nothing to him today was because my son was with me. I love this trail and I also volunteered on it few years back. But remember riders, it’s not only for us bikers, hikers are allowed also.
Cheers

A bit stiff, but also the fastest ride to the top of corkscrew or CBC, IMO. Good Sir Martin is more twisty and detours out of the way, and straight up Buck cuts off a loop on Mtn. Highway. GSM is good for the second lap, since you are already over near Academy, etc.

Not too bad until it crosses Powerlines, definitely feels like an efficient way to get up the mountain from Old buck lot compared to traversing over to GSM.

Probably the hardest ‘sanctioned’ trail on Seymour. A significant step up from other blacks on the mountain, and harder than Boogieman in my opinion.

Accidentally went on this trail when I was actually trying to ride C-Buster. Pretty fun, more of a bench cut singletrack vibe vs john deer's bike park feel.

Steep gravel climb, if your wondering why people shuttle Seymour its the climb, and after you pass the power lines that's when the party starts.

This may be rated double black, relative to the rest of Seymour. This mind bender is significantly and consistently more tech than Boogie (at least the top part before Boogie nights turnoff), Deer John and Empress. It may just be due to the time of year, erosion and raw nature of it, but cleaning this requires deep focus/skill, apparently neither of which I possess. There's a crank deep water rut forming on last steep section, too.

After the great touch-ups, and in the dry, I'd change my mind to solid black (minus some of the old skinnies on the top bit). Thanks for the work. Good times.

Stringaling. C-Buster, Shorn Scrotum and Asian Adonis are in the CMHC and correctly described as 'unsanctioned''. All trails in that area aren't sanctioned fyi. They're the ones Sharon and I maintain and it seemed like a good idea to accurately describe them.

This section gps'ed on Seymour is mostly all rideable. The section from "Old Buck" to the Powerlines was upgraded last winter for an easier climb and is used a lot.

The descent portion from the powerlines to the "BP to Powerline Connector" was upgraded for the BC Bike Race. The trail after this point is not rideable, it gets very steep with steps. Once it hits "Bridle Path" its rideable again.
