High Point

This route is commonly taken by hikers to get to the summit of the Three Sisters.

Definitely an extreme trail especially on the Three Sisters Summit Trail, where the terrain is loose, rocky, and off-cambered. Only for highly experienced riders.

There will be sections on the Mountain Lakes Trail where you'll be required to carry your bike, particularly on the wooden steps.

There's is space for parking at the trail head just off Hartley Lake Road. If your vehicle is 4x4, with high ground clearance, and you have experience driving rough backcountry roads, you can drive further up Mountain Lakes Spur road to a second parking spot.

Really good going at the moment (for a scree field anyway). A pretty decent track goes all of the way with only a few dicey moments. Wear boots to scree ski down!
