Some tough climbing will reward riders with 3 stunning viewpoints, 2 extended DH sections, and a techy/rolly descent. One of the tougher sustained climbs in the south island on Danger Trail brings the rider to a small viewpoint just before the Cole Hill summit with views of the Salish Sea and glimpses of the Olympics. A flowy descent from the summit is followed by a short climb to trail #24 and viewpoint that faces west with a look at Brentwood Bay and Mt. Baker. A technical/rolly descent is followed by a short climb to the Partridge summit and the best views north and west of Mt. Work, the Malahat, and Finlayson Inlet. The route is completed with one of the funnest descents down Watchdog and Urge, thanks to the work of Kevin and his build team.
Not easy, for me, but definitely rewarding
