This is a nice moderate trail ride that covers some of the best social and system trails in the Thumb Butte and The Pines area. This ride should take 3-4 hours when ridden at a moderate pace and a few stops along the way. There are no water stops along this route but you should be fine with 3 liters of water unless you are riding it in the very hot summer months. The route utilizes a small portion of Thumb Butte road to connect a couple of social trails. The route would best be ridden in a counter clockwise fashion and could easily be started from any of the 3 parking areas the route goes through like Thumb Butte Park, White Rock, or 332 trail head on Iron Springs road.
