Tour dell'Alta Valle Arroscia
Tour of Upper Arroscia Valley

The tour runs within the higher regions of the Arroscia valley, the very land of Ormeasco, the wine par excellence of the area, and takes you through villages with a long tradition and history of craftsmanship and pastoral farming. The tour starts from Colle di Nava from where, after a short but steep climb on the asphalt road that goes to San Bernardo di Mendatica, in about 5 km you will reach Val dell’Aveo, start point of an amazing and challenging single-track that takes you to Cosio D’Arroscia. From there, keep going towards Ottano and Pornassio, coming across the area of the famous vineyards of Ormeasco grape, the castle of Villa and the Annunziata church in Ottano. Upon reaching Pornassio, cross the National road 28 and continue on a dirt uphill road that will take you back to Colle di Nava, well-known for its nineteenth-century forts.
