High Point

From Engelberg train station, the starting point of the Trübsee tour, you will reach the valley station of the TITLIS mountain railway. Left of the station leads the tarred Gerschnistrasse (on the road must be expected to work traffic) direction Untertrübsee. Rising steadily, but protected from the sun by the forest, the road winds its way to the Alp Untertrübsee. There is already waiting for you the first rest stop. Here clears the forest and gives the view of the mountains free. At the first junction turn left onto a wide gravel path. From there, strong legs are required. The coarse gravel places high demands on condition and driving technique. The view of the Titlis and the knowledge that the crystal-clear Trübsee is waiting for the tired biker's feet above, make you forget the hardships. When you see the Trübsee, you have almost reached the height. In the distance you can already see the mountain station of the gondola Engelberg-Trübsee-Titlis. On the right bank of the Trübsee, the paved road heads towards the destination of the tour. Before returning to the valley, it is worthwhile to put your feet up on one of the sun loungers on the large terrace of the Berghotel Trübsee and enjoy a cool drink with a view of the magnificent mountains. Back to the valley and to the starting point of the tour, it goes on the same route.
