The Bone Trail.

This Iconic trail is over 10 years old and the pride and passion of the Tulbagh MTB Club and community, spearheaded by Deon Wilkins and Grant Clack.

This route maps how to ride the Bone Trail from Manley Carpark. Please be courteous where you park your vehicles and take care when crossing the busy main road onto the Meadows single track.

The meadows winds up slowly up the valley and onto some farmland, a long gradual climb to get the heart rate up. Once at the top you cross the Steinthal Road and head across to the incredible Bone Trail single track start. From here its kilometres of crafted single track with sharp climbs and switchbacks rewarded with awesome views and flowy fast decents.

Tulbagh: The Bone Trail is a 22 mile popular intermediate route located near Tulbagh. This mountain bike primary route can be used one direction and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route includes 6 trails. This route climbs 2,774 ft with a max elevation of 1,867 ft then descends -2,773 ft.
