This trail system was a huge draw for me as I’ve made multiple trips down to NWA to ride all of the awesome trails in the area (Bentonville, Fayetteville, Hobbs State Park).

I was pretty disappointed after riding these trails as it was pretty obvious that it is not ridden often (especially this route) and the trails were not well maintained. If you do ride these trails, prepare to hike-a-bike. With lots of loose rock, slick rock, and downed trees it makes climbing out of the valley that much more difficult.

From what the locals have stated, and Strava, it seems these trails are more heavily utilized in the spring and fall. Coming in June, the heat, humidity, and ticks made the trek a bit treacherous.

It was a great mental and physical challenge to complete this, just a huge bummer to see these trails in such disrepair after making the 10 hour drive to do this.
