High Point

This ride takes place in one of Northern New Mexico's hidden gems. The Valle Vidal is a remote valley teeming with elk, antelope, bobcats, cows, eagles and much more. Amazing fishing and dispersed camping as well. The ride begins at the cemetery in Amalia then goes thru the community to reach the Valle Vidal limits. From the Valle vidal continue on the main road until you get to Comanche point. Take a right at Comanche point then stay on this road for several miles. At the next fork continue right near the rocky outcrops. stay on this road until you see the abandoned lodge on the left. Take the overgrown trail past the lodge heading east to get to the valley floor. Navigate the overgrown trail to ascend back to the main road. Once at the top of the pass go left then begin your screaming descent back to the main road. From there just head back to the cemetery to finish the ride.
