If you feel comfortable with routes 1, 2 and 3 in this series, then this route will be a modest step-up in terms of distance as well as the number of technical features on the route. First base has some interesting rock formations and a nice little rock garden, but don’t worry, if you are not ready yet, you can walk it. College Run is a long fast and flowy down hill, but be aware, there is one slight drop-off that could sneak up on you. This route will also take you past the Teeter Totters. Don’t try them unless you are really confident! The burial bypass near the end of this route is a fun but challenging trail and can be skipped if you are so inclined. If, however, you decide to do it, take the second entrance, not the first.
