The Shimano Volcanic Epic, presented by Tineli, is a unique five day mountain bike stage race held across New Zealand’s spectacular North Island geothermal region. If you’re looking for a truly special mountain bike event, the Shimano Volcanic Epic is your ticket to the experience of a lifetime.
Stage 4 is a loop format, and will start/finish at the Hub at Craters MTB Park. The amazing volcanic pumice-based trails of Craters MTB park a completely different riding experience of the first 3 days.

Detailed Description
Volcanic Epic Stage 4 2025 is a 24 mile moderately popular easy race route located near Taupo. This mountain bike primary route can be used one direction and has a easy overall physical rating. This route includes 5 trails. This route climbs 3,272 ft with a max elevation of 1,817 ft then descends -3,198 ft.
