High Point

The full climb and descent option as of the 2015 season. This includes the only route to the top of Whistlepunk via a gravel road that breaks off the main paved road climb. This route will get you the full Alsea Falls experience of rocks and jumps at the top into pedaling sections, berms, tabletops, hips and doubles in the middle, and then pure flow rollers and berms at the bottom.

A mix of paved and gravel road climb all the way up to the top of the trail system (as of the 2015 season) with 1500ft of elevation gain over about 4.5 miles. Be sure to watch at the 2 mile point to turn off the paved road onto gravel on the right hand side, then stay left at the first split. After that just stay on the road and look for the trails to start on the left hand side.

It is a roughly 5-mile descent back to the parking lot via Whistlepunk, Sexy Tree, Highballer, and Springboard.

Other shorter options exist as well as alternate descents through the middle of the trail system.

My goto route. Trailhead has campground right next door - no cell coverage on ATT.

Just had the most amazing descent of my MTB life. Lucked out with being able to climb road with permission from the loggers, but don't come during the week as I don't think they're down to do that regularly. Congrats to Team Dirt on simply amazing trails!

Did this loop this weekend for my first real MTB outing in over 10 years. Sooo fun! Climb wasnt horrible, trails are good practice for beginners, even on a hardtail! Cant wait to go back!
