A true test of climbing stamina and technical climbing skill, followed by a super rocky but fun descent. Almost all riders will be forced to hike-a-bike a few sections of the climb, but there is nothing absolutely undoable--it is just the combination of long/steep sections and rocks that take their toll. The descent is rough, but doesn't contain big drops or jumps. Lots of hikers, so stay in control, especially when within 3 miles of Gateway TH area.

Really fun DH. Nothing too tough but lots of loose rock, chunder and switchbacks. Good reward for the climb!
