The focus with the Powell River Bike and Skate Park was to create an action sports park that incorporated both bike and skate facilities in partnership with Spectrum Skateparks. This dynamic park assimilates a beginner pumptrack, the first ever poured in place concrete pumptrack in North America, slopestyle dirt jump trails, downhill flow trails, and a beginner flow line. Alpine Bike Parks also partnered with FlowForm Bike Ramps and developed two new features debuted in Powell River. Through community outreach Alpine prepared operations and management planning for city staff training and maintenance processes.
