Land OwnerACFL
When this trail was first built, the builders found a note pinned to a tree that read "This trail is KICK ASS" It's steep and tight. While many people assume it's a descent only, many relish the challenge of cleaning it as a climb. Hikers also tend to climb it, so watch out for other users if you're descending. Edited - ACFL trails were originally cut by local dirt bike riders in the 1970's-1990's. There was no real thought process to the trail layouts. Many trails were cut that the forest took back. The Kick Ass urban legend note pinned to a tree is just that - a legend.

Tight turns. Doesn't really flow. Careful or it will kick your ass.

Great techy trail. Lots of roots, rocks and sharp turns. Not super steep, but definitely fun. If you want fast and steep ride the blue trail on the opposite side of the hilltop

This is one of the only actual rideable black trails in the area. It is not very fast, but does have a few fun features. It is very technical and requires some good bike handling skills. I have ridden up this once and it is doable, but very tough.
