la discesa la si può raggiungere dall'abitato di Cavandone oppure è un ottimo fine giro da agganciare all'anello XC del Monte Rosso. dal circuito XC ci si stacca con una deviazione a sx nella parte finale, dopo aver percorso una discesa in una piccola gola naturale. Nel primo tratto di discesa il sentiero è scorrevole e molto guidato, curve abbastanza chiuse e rilanci, dopo aver attraversato una gippabile andando a sx in prossimità di un cancello sulla destra si stacca un piccolo sentiero tra due muretti. la parte finale presenta un fondo irregolare con molti sassi, nel periodo estivo i rovi e le erbacce lo rendono quasi impraticabile. parte finale proibitiva su 2 tornantini stretti e pendenza notevole.
