On Dec. 27 1755 in obedience to an Act imposing a tax upon distilled spirits, the Town Clerk reports the rum consumed by the families in town was twenty nine gallons and three quarts, though a query raises about the reliability of this “return”.

      Was pretty easy riding. A lot of ice in places, but easy to navigate around it without trail braiding.
