305 is a nice flowy out and back that roughly parallels Walker Rd and passes Lynx Lake along the way. The lower part of the trail from the 305 trailhead to the green gate (about 5 miles), is a gentle uphill grade with a few downhills thrown in. That last 2 miles of the trail (past the green gate) are fairly steep. Out and back is about 14 miles. You can also shoot over to Salida Gulch on the gravel road, but there is no direct trail connection from Salida to 305. (The trail from Salida to Lynx Lake is hiking only.)

Access Info

Park at the 305/62 trailhead, a little ways past CostCo on the right. Look for the closing hours sign, because the gate is locked at night. You can also park on the road in front of the trailhead if you will be out past closing time. 305 is to the left as you pull into the trailhead. 62/Ranch is at the back next to the the bathroom.

Great singletrack. Had water in most of the drainages. Saw a lot of bikes heading south.
