Steep in places and pedally in others, a good warm up for the other Golfie trails. The riding in this forest is a step up from the "Enduro" trail sat Glentress and Innerleithen. These trails aren't built for the high numbers of users, and they're built by people on their own free time after work or on days off. Riding in big groups ruins these trails and they are unofficial - so the less impact on the land the better. If you're planning to organise a big group ride it would only be polite to talk to the builders - ask in the local bike shops. Some trails have been ruined by races

All unofficial. Go with someone who knows the area! Definitely don't go on your own, it can be pretty quiet and remote...

This trail is unsanctioned, use at your own risk!
