Not a red. Treat this as a serious MTN route with black grade riding and you'll have a blast. 50/50 to ride/hike for us and a great blast down after completing the Torridon "lollipop" route. Make sure you bring a full bag of kit with first aid/repair kit/ survival bag etc. This ain't no blast down spooky woods at Glentress ????

For a reasonably fit 52 yr old, the ascent is 70%-80% rideable, really good technical climbing. Heading round the loop nearly broke me though, do not attempt this unless you're used to serious hike a bike AND steep loose descending or you'll be miserable. Fantastic descent from Bealach na Lice with some lovely rock slabs, loose in some places to test the less confident.

Climb is 80-90% rideable if proper MB fit and ok with rocky stuff. Absolute torture tho, but worth it for amazing descent back down. Heading around the loop is amazing but remember to take your biceps, food and a spare pair of balls.

80% is hike your bike all the trail up to the lakes. The way down on this trail is technical and fun and comes with a great view.

Downhill is very playfull with lot of opportunities to ride some slabs.
The sandy mud at some points is worse, calls for some offshore!?
But at the Torridon Inn ask for some pressure washer, and go for a cake or dinner
