This is the steepest and toughest section of 48 Hours. Steep and rutted. Place nuts (or female equivalent) on back tire, pull on max braking and surf down the dirt, praying you don't pick up too much speed. Many will take the easier options to the left.

You'll know when you've got to it as there is a trail junction, and the one to the right has a sign on it that used to say Kootenay Canal, but someone has kindly removed the "C"....
