5 Wood is either a solo loop (for a fast ride) or an extension of the other trails in the Country Club trail system primarily linking 3 Wood to Putter or connecting one to Out of Bounds or Fairway. It winds through the cedar trees, in and out of washes and rides along the Garley Wash ridgeline - about a 150 foot drop off.

Access Info

Drive past the homes on the back 9 of the Country Club golf course and where the asphalt turns into a jeep/ATV road park. Ride the jeep/ATV road up 2 levels until you get to the sign/cairns for 5 Wood. (Past the Driver and 3 Wood cairns)

Was a nice easy trail. Great views. Some sand areas. I’d do it again! Warm up to altitude for Moab for me cuz I’m from the coast!
