The downhill track on Feuerkogel is what the locals call "dark black". It's natural, old school and very steep. Ascent is via Feuerkogel gondola, which runs every half an hour. Then it's all downhill from the top. Trail was re-worked after a pause in 2015 and has gotten some new features in Spring 2016 such as a new section at the top as well as a drop and two wallrides at the bottom.
Access Info
It's tough to miss the blue bow that says "Start" on it on the left hand side coming out of the gondola.

Challenging track, you should know what to do on steep, slippery, alpine trails. If you ride well this is a good change to common build DH tracks. Don’t ride when rain

Der 50Grad Verein Pflegt die Strecke seit heuer nicht mehr. Alle Holzbauten, bis auf den Lawinenverbau am Einstieg und den letzte 180er Wallride wurden abgebaut.
Strecke aber in super Zustand.

Natural track which is one of the hardest bikepark-downhill-trails in austria. You should not ride this trail if you do not have any experience on natural alpine downhill trails or if you are in struggle with your bike. Steep track with half-landings, lots of roots and even more stones – even the last "flowy" part is still nasty. If you ride fast and sick, you still need about 10 minutes for this trail.

the track is one of a kind and real challengeing --- once you find the speed it'll make you feel real good at the end of the day!
